James was my granfather's name. Instead, I was born two months premature on 17 March 1953. Hence...I am Patrick Daniel-James Gallagher. Danny, I feel a certain connection with you. My thoughts, my prayers and my novennas are sent to your family and kin. You were too young to be murdered! Anyway, I just know in my heart that you were a good lad indeed. I am reminded of the lyrics of "Danny Boy". "Oh Danny boy, oh danny boy, I love you so." I can only say to the family of Daniel James Gallagher..."I miss the fact that he shall never again touch your hands, nor kiss your cheeks." My heart goes out to all who died in that horrible tragedy and to all their families. My prayers are with all who still suffer. |
