From: Elaine S. Revis Date: 09/20/2004 Message: I met Karleton when he was about 14, the son of Barb Fyfe, a nurse with whom I worked at Duke. I remember him as a witty and very polite young man, and was not at all surprised to hear that he grew up into a remarkable young man. When I learned almost 2 years after 9/11/01 that he had been killed in the attack, I was shocked and deeply saddened. My prayers are with his parents, Barb and Jim, as they continue through life without Karleton's ongoing presence. |
