Message: On September 11, 2004 I went to a city festival called Waterfire in Providence, Rhode Island. That particular night we dedicated the waterfires to the victims of 9/11. We were all gathered by the water and were each given a carnation with a name of a victim of 9/11. I recieved one with Roberts name on it. It also said to perform an act of kindness in memory of him. So I looked him up online and see that he was a firefighter. My heart goes out to you and your family. Thank you for serving the city that day, I'm sure it was a tough job but I really do think about the victims and their families very often even though I did not lose anyone in the attacks. Thank you and god bless America.

Message: I miss you. Your uplifting laugh and words of encouragement. Heath and I think of you often. Heath wears a pair of Fire Gloves that you gave to him about 7 years ago. FOTI is written across the band in thick black letters. When he works in the yard, he wears them, and its a tender memory of you, being together outside raking leaves. It feels like yesterday that we just spoke on the phone. Today, A Ladder Truck passed me as they were pulling out of the Fire House and I signed to the Chauffer, PEACE, he signed PEACE back to me, turned on the siren, ran the horn and took off to the call they were responding to, A tear dropped from my eye and I knew you were there. We all love you and miss you. PEACE, MY FRIEND. Love your 'sistah', Lisa
