23 Years Later...We Shall Never Forget

From: A Fellow SRHS Alumni
Date: 07/23/2004
Message: Every 911 mention I hear brings back memories of a young man who was friendly, smart, and a great cooking kid. Chirs was the quintessential "All-American Guy". It would have been a tragedy to hear of anyone from SR being caught in the horror on 911. But for me it hurt worse to hear it was Chris. This was a guy that was destined for great things, someone who could really do something with his life and make a difference. Most kids from SR didn't have that much of a chance. In some sort of bitter irony it almost makes sense that an angel like Chris would be taken away from us in something so horrible. I often wonder why he's now gone and I'm still here trying to make some sort of sense of my life and working towards becoming a better person. I'm not there yet, Chris was. Maybe that's why it was his time to go. He will be missed and most of all he will be remembered as the inspiration that a kid from godd old SRHS can someday make something of his life. God Bless!

Message: 3 ans après je me rend compte que la vie d'un homme portant le même nom que le mien s'est brutalement interrompu. Sincère condoléance à la famille. Unis nous vaincrons la folie des Hommes.

From: Another SRHS Alumni (graduated \'88)
Date: 09/08/2004
Message: I too am still trying to make something out of all of this...I graduated with Chris. From me to you dear Chris, I have to say I am honored to know you, I think of you every minute of the day. Your family in my heart and thoughts. I will always remember your smile, your personality, how you lit up a room when you walked in. How special you made people feel (myself included), when no one else listened, you did. I know you are looking down at all of us smiling, your smile, brighter then the sun. I carry your picture everywhere with me, and I always will carry you in my thoughts. God Bless the entire Dincuff family. I love you and miss you C-More...
