Message: Hello, My name is Lauren. I currently attend wheaton north high school. We were given an assignment to research someone who died during the fatal attacks on september 11th. Although i did not personally know Dominick, i find his story to be touching. He really proved himself to be a true hero. I wish i could have half the courage and strength that Dominick once had. He seemed like he was an amazing person. Its such a shame that he is no longer with us. My sympathy goes out to all his family and friends. Dominick Pezzulo was truley a remarkable hero.

Message: I have read this man's story, and seen it on the big screen. This man truly lead a great life and did what was best for his country. I would proudly say that if I was in his position, I would try and save those men, without concern for my safety. Even though he died in an attempted rescue, he was a brave man, one who deserves the honor he recieved.

Message: I was a student at Lehman High School where Dominick once worked. His wife is still there and she just seems so strong and my heart goes out to her and the rest of the family. The students at Lehman High School in NYC will never forget him or his family. I am sure the kids will turn into great, brave, strong men because they were created by a hero.
