From: Kathleen McCarthy Sullivan Date: 01/02/2006 Message: At the end of every day I reflect on how fortunate I am to have spent 42 years with you as your big sister. These last four years have not been easy however I imagine that you are in heaven and happily looking down on all of us! The anniversary of your death is nine months away and it seems like yesterday that you were celebrating the Christmas holidays at my home with your family. I know you know how much you mean to me and how much I miss you. Love you always, Kathy |
From: Kathleen McCarthy Sullivan Date: 08/13/2006 Message: I sit in my living room starring out at the Cape Cod bay and Provincetown as the sun sets and the lights in the town begin to twinkle I think how much you loved it here. So many memories of you fishing, boating and making us laugh. Deborah and the kids arrived for the Fourth of July parade in Wellfleet and the cookout here with family. Your name came up a few times as not to forget and each time a story was told we would glance at one another as if to say “Kevin would have embellished this story until he had center stage and laughter turned to wheezing” There are a few pictures of you as a reminder, like I need a picture to remember your beautiful smile. As we approach the fifth anniversary of 9/11 I’m hoping that this will be a new chapter in my life and thoughts of you will draw a smile and not a tear. Kathy |
