Message: Dear Lisa, David, Drew, and Morgan, Last week I finished reading "Let's Roll". A friend loaned me her book. I know that I need my own copy of this book because it has such valuable lessons for all of us. The most important message is that Todd was no ashamed of living his life for the gospel of Jesus Christ. This past Sunday I taught the 3rd grade class at my church, Roswell Presbyterian Church in Roswell, GA. The text was Mark 8: 31-38. The story about Jesus telling Peter of all that was to come for him. Peter didn't want to believe that Jesus was going to die. Jesus goes on to tell Peter that we must all deny ourselves for the kingdom of God to be a disciple. The memory verse was Romans 1:16 which starts by saying "I am not ashamed of the Gospel...." After talking with many of the expert teachers at our church, they convinced me that I should share a bit of Todd's story with our wonderful third graders. I spoke about his childhood, your childhood, Lisa, and of your devotion to your church and Christ. I told them of Todd's conversation with Lisa Jefferson and his praying the Lord's Prayer and quoting Psalm 23. The children listened wtih such respect--then we quoted our scripture from Romans again. We have been learning Psalm 100 for March 30 when we will say it in front of the congregation when our children receive their Bibles. I thought it was important to point out to them that at 32, Todd was still learning scripture with great enthusiasm. Thank you for sharing your story and thank you your inspiration to me and to my classroom. May God continue to bless you, your children, and your extended family as you face each day without your loved one. I pray for your stamina, strength and renewed faith for the responsibilities before you. Minnie Bowden

Message: There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of that tragic day, 9/11. Not only did the victims perish that day, but the lives of those left behind forever changed. I did not know anyone personally that perished that day, however that day I loved each and every victim of that tragedy. My heart will forever go out to those left behind, those that God chose as angels that day and so many more. Each of you are in my prayers and forever in my thoughts. May God Bless Your Souls and those Whom You Left.

Message: Lisa, David, Drew and Morgan: WOW! Your husband/father's story has touched me in such an incredible way. This is out of character for me to write an online message to anyone, indirectly. However, I just want you to know that you are so blessed to have had a father, such as yours, even for a brief period. This story will definately carry on inside, myself on tough days and hopefully keep me humble on the great days. Your family has reached me, someone who never really lived on any feelings. Message: Thank God for strong people in the Lord that quote scripture to the end of their lives and fighting for what they know they had to do. Todd should be remembered as a God fearing man but our real hero is God who gives us strength. Thank you Lisa for exhibiting this strength by sharing Todd's life with the world so that we too can have a glimpse of heaven. Your courage continues to overwhelm myself as I just read your book "Let's Roll" for the second time as I possibly may be facing cancer. I opened your book to remember that we too can have the same strength Todd had in times of trouble under circumstances that are beyond and our of our control. I hope that one day I can leave the same legacy to my child, one that passes on the love of God.

You were an ordinary man, a husband and a father and a friend -- but when the time came you stepped into the role of a TRUE HERO beautifully and we will never forget the inspiration you gave us. Message: Wow - I just saw the movie United 93 and I have never been so touched. There were not a dry eye in the theater and never before have I been in such a quite place. Todd, you are a hero, that is a fact. It must have been so scary up there. I cannot even image what I would have done. I guess people really need to know that today could be their last. Instead of fighting with you friends and family over piddaly things, we should just love one another. You did not die in vien. You saved a lot of lives and you taught at least on girl in Phoenix,AZ that life is too short to hold grudges. Kiss your babies everyday and show your nieghbors some respect, you just never know who might be right by your side one day ... WE LOVE YOU!

Message: Lisa, As I sit here on the 5 year anniversary of that horrible event I think of you. On 9-11 and the days after I was truly in AWE of how you were able to maintain sanity and do so with such poise and grace while being interviewed by so many networks. My husband is a pilot for American Airlines. He was at Newark doing his walk-around his plane when Flight 93 taxied by before they took off. He made eye contact with the pilots on that plane. It is erie. Because all air travel was ceased so quickly I am fortunate to have my husband with me still. We will never know if ohter terrorists may have been on that plane, too. Every day I think of 9-11 in some way. Especially thist morning as my husband drove off to work to fly. I have so often wondered how you (and your family) are doing. I know my life is forever changed, but I also realize I am one of the lucky ones. I still have my husband. So many others aren't as lucky. I want you to know I read your book and I agree with the submission previous to this one. We would LOVE to hear where you are now and how life is going fo you. We would love an update. You have been out of the media but we still wonder about you. You inspired us so much the days after 9-11. You, and the so many other victim's families, are in our hearts and prayres. We have NOT forgotten.

Message: I just rented the movie United 93. WOW is all I can say. However, I was a bit thrown off how they portrayed Todd in it? He was the one swearing, and calling his mom (?) on the phone asking if she believed him, and Jeremy Glick is the one saying "Let's Roll" I am so confused?!

Message: Lisa, As many of these messages have already stated...I also watched all the media coverage and countless interviews of families during what I can only imagine were the hardest, most numbing days of your life. I deeply admire your strength, courage, and abililty to project your self as the classy, Godly woman you obviously are. On September 11, 2001 I was working as a news producer at an ABC News Affiliate. At times the news business loses sight of showing compassion because people are often considered just another "story". Since then I've moved on from that career and have two children of my own. Lisa, I want you to know that you touched my life then, but now that I know what it means not only to be a wife, but also a mother I look to you as a tower of strength. You are an amazing woman. I know in my heart God will bless you with joy. Please let us know how you are from time to time. God Bless.

Message: September 11, 2001. The day that was be change the world and change of America. Remembering of that day, we must never forget the word of “Let’s Roll”, who? Todd Beamer who said that word while he and all the victims of flight 93 tried to fight with the hijackers. “Are you ready?” Of course we have never forgotten his good will to sacrifice his life for one’s country. I want to say thanks to him so much, and I want to share pain with his family. I’m not a citizen of America, but I realize my heart get hurt when I think about that day 9/11 even I’m not American people. Todd is the true one of US hero, you are always in our brain forever, and may the god bless you and your family forever. Message: I admired Todd mainly because of his faith and his willingness to grow strong in the Lord. Jesus was definitly was at the center of his life and he based all of his decisions around his relationship with him. He seemed to always ask the question "What would Jesus do" I also admire him for being to have a healthy sense of humor and enjoy every day of his life. Todd was an everyday hero, and that is something we all need to strive to be. There is a hero out there who will be there when you need him, and his name is Jesus. I did not Todd and I do not know his family, but Todd's life inspired me when I read about him in Lisa Beamer's book"Let's Roll" That's my way of life allso. I always say "Let's Roll", just like Todd.
